Acceptance of terms
UpMeals respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use UpMeals OS—our software‑as‑a‑service platform, including the website, web or mobile applications, APIs, documentation, and any related features, content, or support services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
Information we collect
1. To use UpMeals OS, you will need to create an account. We collect and store your email address, username, and password securely.
2. Recipes, ingredient data, nutrition values, images, labels and other files you upload.
3. Pages visited, features used, interaction times, log files and error reports.
4. Transaction status and the last four digits of your card provided by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
5. Device data such as browser type, operating system, IP address and device identifiers.
6. Authentication tokens and profile information from Google or other OAuth providers.
How we use information
We use information to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
Process payments and manage subscriptions.
Improve and develop new features.
Communicate service‑related announcements.
Market UpMeals OS products or services, subject to opt‑out rights.
Comply with legal obligations.
Information sharing and disclosure
1. Hosting, analytics, email and payment partners that act under confidentiality agreements.
2. Your data may transfer if we merge, acquire or sell assets.
3. We may disclose information when required to comply with a law or valid request.
4. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We are based in Canada. When personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction we rely on lawful safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. You can delete your account at any time. Within thirty days we will delete or anonymize related data unless law requires longer retention.
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data and to object to certain processing. Send requests to privacy@upmeals.ca. We respond within thirty days.
We use industry‑standard encryption in transit and at rest along with access controls and routine security checks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Security
You can manage your account settings and preferences within UpMeals OS. You may choose to delete your account, which will permanently remove your data from our servers.
IP rights
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by UpMeals OS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any part of the App without the express written consent of UpMeals OS.
Policy updates
We may update this Policy periodically. We will inform you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after the update means you accept the revised Policy.
By using the UpMeals OS Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
